Marissa is deeply committed to creating opportunities for Black and Brown women, and she brings this purpose into every space she leads and supports.

Marissa is an accomplished leader with over eight years of experience leading operations, strategic communications, and high-level stakeholder engagement across government, nonprofit, and creative sectors. Known for her detail-oriented project management and client relationship skills, Marissa has led initiatives that drive social impact, innovation, and cross-sector collaboration. She holds advanced degrees in Public Administration and Policy, Environmental Science, and English Literature.

Outside of work, Marissa is an avid reader (you’ll rarely catch her without a book), a dedicated community volunteer, and a lover of travel, concerts, and exploring new restaurants. She lives in Maryland with her energetic Yorkie, Marley.
